Work Description	:	Mtr wide Metallic loom for weaving coir matting and coir Geo Textiles. Frames shall be fabricated with mild steel channels provided suitable geats/wheels/ratchet wheels/for weaving different quality of coir matting and coir Geo Textiles. . Production capacity should be 60-120 running mts/8 hrs shifts. Double head bobbin winding machinery suitable for winding Coir yarn, accessories and wooden bobbins 600 nos. Hand operated quiling machine (cops winding machine) suitable for winding weft yarn

Government of India has approved 26 coir clusters for the implementation of SFURTI scheme. The Annual Action Plan for the year 2009-10 has been approved for all clusters. For TamilNadu (Vellore District) the Nodel Agency (Coir Board,Kochin), the NAFO (R.O,Coir Board,Pollachi),the Technical Agency (ni-msme,Hyderabad), the Implementing Agency (General Manager,District Industries Centre,Vellore),CDA (Itcot,Chennai), SPV (Gudiyattam Coir Consortium) and CDCG, Vellore District are taking active part in implementation of the scheme before December 2009.

During the Review meeting conducted on 1.8.2009 by Coir Board ,Kochin and as per the action plan revised and instruction given by the Chairman and Secretary Coir Board and the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce,Chennai,Government of Tamil Nadu the CFC machineries should be erected and trial run to be taken on or before 25th November 2009.

As such the General Manager / Implementing Agency on behalf of purchase commmittee has issued the TENDER NOTICE inviting Tender on 10th August 2009 and Tender Opening scheduled on 25th August 2009 at 4.30 PM.
