10.Conducting Task Force Committee under the chairmanship of the District Collector to select the beneficiaries under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas of the country through setting up of new self-employment ventures/projects/micro enterprises.
11.Identifying and developing cluster of industries under Cluster Development Programme under MSE-CDP, SFURTI and IIUS schemes
12.Conducting Seminars, work shops, etc. on industrial development and related subjects.
13.Recommending the industries for award of State and Central Government.
14.Identifying the Sick units and assisting them through District Sick units Declaration Committee.
15.Assisting the SSI units to get their long pending dues from their borrowers through Regional Industry Facilitation Council.
16.Assisting the entrepreneur to get the industrial license, if needed.
17.Assisting SC/ST Entrepreneurs under Twenty Point Programme.
18.Conducting regular meeting with local MSME associations to solve any particular problem.
19.Assisting the banks in recovering the dues from the PMRY /PMEGP beneficiaries by conducting regular Recovery Campaigns.
20.Associating with various departments/ Govt. agencies like TAHDCO, TABCEDCO etc for the up liftment of the entrepreneurs belonging to the socially weaker sections.
